We have an immediate opening for a Shutdown Turnaround and Quality Tools IT Analystworking hybrid out of our Houston, TX or Allentown, PA office with <10% travel required. Relocation assistance will be offered for this position!

The IT Analyst will provide overall responsibility for the delivery of implementation, enhancements, and maintenance of existing or new applications, meeting service level agreements, and product and lifecycle management for Shutdown Turnaround and Quality. In addition, the analyst will be a change agent and ensure that all collaborators are following the Air Products detailed Shutdown Turnaround and Quality in Implementation, processes, and procedures.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is responsible for requirements definition, application analysis, and functional design of new solutions. A critical component of this role is to effectively work with the Air Products business area so that new/enhanced functionality and application changes can be implemented effectively. This position is accountable for the following:

Knowledge of EPC systems in planning, scheduling, Shutdown Turnaround and Quality, project management, document management, subcontract management, Construction Management in EPC industry preferably Oil and Gas.

Understanding of the change impact of implementation of Shutdown Turnaround and Quality to the turnaround lifecycle.

In-depth knowledge in the full cycle of application activities from development through production and into support.

Deep, technical understanding of Shutdown Turnaround and Quality systems, processes, and data needs, and must be intimately familiar with Shutdown Turnaround and Quality process, terminology, roles and responsibilities.

Previous experience implementing and supporting Shutdown Turnaround and Quality systems for large turnaround and capital projects.

Provide technical direction in the analysis, design, configuration, testing, and deployment of new Digital Technology enable capabilities related to capital project construction, maintenance, bug fixes, and enhancements of those applications.

Strong working knowledge of applications used on large Shutdown Turnaround and Quality, e.g., P6, Prometheus, Cleopatra, SAP or similar.

Strong support and Administration Knowledge on Cleopatra will be an added advantage.

Knowledge of other tools such as Audit Board other Quality Tools.

Full lifecycle of Turnarounds on Oil and Gas is an added advantage.

Design and build new value-add solutions including ability to assess the impact of new application requirements, gather and document business requirements, develop comprehensive functional specifications and data strategies, and build ensuring the new solution that meets business objectives while maintaining standard AP Digital Technology directives.

Actively participate in design discussions and program functional reviews.

Maintain existing services, resolve incidents and problem management, and meet SLAs.

Align with the business Owners, Automation, and Digital Technologies (IT) groups to ensure seamless DT project execution.

Work with the engineering automation group and enterprise architect to determine integration strategy and alignment with other Air Products' tools.

Work closely with the Regional Project Automation Managers to ensure seamless setup and support of tools.

Work closely with engineering automation group to develop automation procedures for software requirements, configuration, set up, deployment and project close-out/archiving inc uding handover to Operations.

Capture, analyze, input and compile information; submit required information and provide functional specification to the application owner.

Participate in all project stages with accountability for eliciting, validating and documenting business requirements which ensure "value-add" to the client.

Creating a testing strategy and ensuring all functionality is tested prior to production deployment.

Work with Change and Release Management team to ensure representation and coordination of the project throughout the change and release process.

Work closely with the PM to ensure successful completion of project deliverables.

Provide product/life cycle, vendor, and contract management for supported applications.

Continuously drive excellence in the areas of optimizing services and work processes, improving quality and reliability, and lowering total costs.

Specific Job Functions of this position are:

Implement data and tools strategy for Shutdown Turnaround and Quality applications implementation.

Ensure that the turnarounds Planning & Project Management and procedures are complete and up to date.

Be actively involved in the interactive planning sessions through all phases of the implementation and be ready to intervene in any problems related to the processes and procedures.

Collaborate with the business to define workflows and process for Planning & Project Management

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in technical discipline such as computer science or engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Planning & Project Management, Shutdown Turnaround and Quality tools in construction, and turnarounds such as Prometheus, Primavera, Audit board and similar tools.

Up to 5+ years IT or business experience, with a focus on requirements analysis preferred.

Demonstrated experience with related business activities within their functional expertise.

Strong problem solving and teamwork skills.

Able to work with minimal supervision.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Strong presentation skills and ability to lead workshops.

Strong vendor relationship and product management skills.

General understanding of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) service delivery methodology.

Project Management certification added advantage.

Valid Drivers' License and good driving record required.
