Overview

This position will partner with key leaders in the IT organization to facilitate the development and delivery of best-in-class interactive user experience and learning solutions to drive internal effectiveness. Manage and provide direction to the Digital Training & Enablement team and deploy targeted solutions that drive results. Evaluate the effectiveness of learning content and programs and collaborate with the business partners on identifying content gaps and/or opportunities for future improvements. Applying an enterprise-wide lens and “digital mindset” to digital training strategies and digital workplace experience is essential to this role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the Digital Training & Enablement team. Management responsibilities include employee development, hiring, and training; planning, assigning, and directing work; performance management and coaching

  • Building partnerships among key stakeholders and business leaders to ensure that digital workplace initiatives support business outcomes.

  • Lead and participate in the design, development, delivery, and maintenance of high-quality learning content and learning programs including analysis of business needs, solution recommendation, design, development, implementation, and evaluation/follow-up

  • Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure consistent development, quality control, brand management and delivery of all training programs

  • Incorporate current and emerging learning technology, tools and platforms that allow for efficient, modern, engaging learning for diverse, geographically dispersed, and mobile audiences

  • Continually develop knowledge, understanding and application of adult learning principles, theories, and concepts in the learning field, and stay current with new learning trends, design techniques and technologies

  • Establish metrics and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs

  • Apply a deep understanding of adult learning theory, competency development, assessment, engagement, instructional design, experiential learning, and leader-led learning to ensure effective, efficient, and scalable designs as well as a consistent learner experience

  • Create a collaborative and innovative environment to foster creativity, open-collaboration, and sharing of ideas

  • Integrate emerging educational and instructional technologies that can bring innovative and creative approaches to the design of online courses and better the learner’s experience

  • Updates and maintain SharePoint Online training sites to provide training resources for learners

  • Other duties assigned

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years combined experience in development and delivery of training and education and implementation of new information technology..

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience successfully managing multiple priorities and projects through successful delivery and implementation under time and budget pressure, and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in training delivery and/or instructional design.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Organization Development, Instructional Design, Learning, Leadership, Psychology, or other related fields preferred

  • Experience in large multi-state or global company and/or large-scale acquisitions/mergers

  • Advanced knowledge of instructional design principles, competency models, assessment models, and educational theories, including adult learning theory preferred

  • Change management certification is desirable

  • General supervision and management experience

Remote Work
