DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Linde Engineering North America LLC Senior Lead Electrical Engineer

Allentown, PA, United States | req16059 What you will enjoy doing* * In this role, you will develop electrical power distribution systems for large industrial applications and you will responsible for the distribution design shall be performed using recognized industry standards and specifications * You will perform calculations and studies for electrical power systems using ETAP and / or SKM- load flow, voltage drop, motor starting, short circuit studies, relay coordination and arc flash studies * Moreover, you will set protective relays based on the results of the above studies * Review and check project related company drawings to ensure compliance with all company and project instructions / specifications is part of your tasks * You will review and check vendor drawings to ensure compliance with: the scope of the purchase order, system functionality, constructability and all company and project instructions / specifications * Further you will develop technical bid tabulation to support the selection of major electrical equipment * Work in a multi-discipline environment to achieve an on-time project completion while maintaining consistent and accurate documentation is required * On top, you will assist in the development of project schedules and manpower requirements

What makes you great * You have a Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering, PE preferred and more than five (10) years of power systems experience * Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), International Society of Automation (ISA) and IEEE Standards and International Codes is required * Moreover, you know effective computer skills like Microsoft Office software, and other discipline specific software applications (SEL, Multilin, etc) * ETAP and / or SKM is required in this role, as well as AutoCAD, familiarity with SmartPlant preferred * Further, you have base knowledge of electrical construction methodologies and processes * Effective verbal and written communication skills with superiors, colleagues, clients and vendors, moreover effective analytical and problem-solving skills are required * Field commissioning, and startup assistance of high voltage electrical equipment * Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory
