Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Vice President/General Manager for one of their clients located in Louisiana. As the Vice President & General Manager, you will be the catalyst for change, spearheading initiatives that transcend the status quo. Your mission is to drive transformative growth and operational excellence across multiple business domains, including engineering, estimating, procurement, sales, business support, and marketing. This pivotal role demands a visionary leader who is not just overseeing operations but actively shaping the future of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

* Strategic Transformation: Craft and execute a high-level strategic plan that propels the business unit beyond current market expectations, positioning it for exponential growth.

* Leadership Excellence: Lead, inspire, and align diverse teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement that resonates throughout the organization.

* Business Development: Actively engage with customers and lead the business development team to forge strong relationships and secure pivotal contracts.

* Operational Oversight: Oversee operational scorecards, ensuring a balance between growth objectives and financial stewardship of the organizational P&L.

* Talent Cultivation: Identify and nurture high-potential talent, creating a pipeline for internal advancement and preparing for succession to the company's presidency.

Skills and Requirements

* Educational Foundation: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.

* Industry Expertise: A minimum of 15 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, with a strong preference for steel manufacturing.

* Proven Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading high-growth teams and managing a P&L within a dynamic industrial environment.

* Strategic Agility: A track record of strategic planning and successful execution of comprehensive growth plans.

* Business Acumen: Extensive knowledge of business processes, management, budgeting, finance, and operations, particularly within heavy industrial engineering and manufacturing sectors. * Visionary Communicator: Exceptional ability to articulate a clear and compelling vision, translating complex technical concepts into strategic business initiatives.

* Adaptive Leader: Adept at anticipating future trends and their implications, with a focus on strategic initiatives and resource allocation to achieve key objectives.
