Financial Analyst- Dairy FoodsIn this role, you will report to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis for the Dairy Foods business and work to facilitate the capital review and approval process. In addition, the role will prepare forward looking analytics, complete periodic reporting, and coordinate administrative expense planning (SG&A) and reporting across Dairy Foods. You will be a trusted business partner who can work both cross functionally and up and down the chain. The role requires a candidate with strong FP&A skills who excels at communicating effectively with stakeholders and exhibits attention to detail. The candidate must demonstrate a strong commitment to continuous process improvement and the ability to team cross-functionally.This position is located at our Arden Hills, MN corporate headquarters (hybrid work arrangement each week)Additional Responsibilities:Facilitate the Dairy Foods Capital & Post Completion Review processesCoordinate capital contingency and overrun request processingMonitor and forecast capital cash spendingMonitor and forecast Dairy Foods Business Unit cash flowWork effectively within FP&A team, including cross functional FP&A teams by partnering to ensure timely completion of forecasts, monthly outlooks, variance analysis and annual business plan processesUse advanced BI skills to mine data and turn it into decision quality informationSpecial projects as assigned including working capital improvement, invested capital analysis, business financial metric generation, etc.Education/Experience:Bachelor's degree required in either finance, accounting or related required. MBA, CMA, or CPA certification desired.A minimum of 3 years progressive finance/accounting experience requiredMust be proficient with Excel, Word, and Power PointPrior experience with Hyperion Essbase Planning, JDE applications and BI tools desiredWorking knowledge & direct application of balance sheets, income statements and cash flow conceptsForecasting, analysis, and budgeting experience requiredPrior experience with financial modeling preferredSkills/Competencies:Excellent writing and presentation skillsStrong analytical skillsAbility to deal effectively with ambiguityBe comfortable working with senior managementDemonstrated project ownership and multi-tasking skillsAttention to detail and accuracyAbout Land O'Lakes, Inc.Join us and be part of a Fortune 250, farmer- and member-owned cooperative that is reimagining the business of food.
