Description We are offering a contract-to-hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist in ARVADA, Colorado. The successful applicant will be an integral part of our team, contributing to vendor management, credit card reconciliations, invoice processing, and other accounting functions. This role involves frequent interaction with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online, and requires strong skills in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities:

• Manage vendor relationships effectively and efficiently

• Carry out reconciliations of credit cards to ensure accuracy of records

• Process invoices in a timely manner, maintaining a high level of precision

• Execute accounting functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks

• Manage job costs and perform billing functions as required

• Utilize QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Enterprise for various accounting tasks

• Process payroll through a third-party system

• Use Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis

• Handle check processing tasks in line with company policies

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit records. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Billing Functions

• Ability to handle Check Processing tasks

• Knowledge and experience in processing Payroll

• Proficiency in Quickbooks Online and QuickBooks Enterprise

• Experience in Credit Card Reconciliation

• Ability to manage Vendor Relationships

• Experience in Job Cost management

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
