Associate Director - Marcoms, Digital Marketing & E-Commerce, Asia Pacific

BASIC FUNCTIONS

Define and drive the E-commerce business strategy, Digital Marketing & Marketing Communications in the Asia Pacific region (Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia). This position is responsible for developing the strategy and execution of the E-Comm business and Marketing Communications in coordination with business/marketing initiatives to deliver financial plans (sales, margin, contribution, inventory turns). Drive revenue and manage the P&L. Work cross functionally and maintain a close relationship with the country marketing and product marketing teams, representing the consumer and e-commerce efforts in the process.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Take a strategic view of the digital commerce landscape, developing the digital and E-commerce strategy with industry best practices and trends.

  • Oversee concept development, strategizing, planning, implementation, and coordinating of digital and e-commerce initiatives.

  • Develop the strategic on-line marketing plan to drive traffic to online stores.

  • Develop O2O integrated marketing plan: Understand consumer on- line shopping behavior and needs and leverage online shopper data based and work with marketing team to generate more traffic from online to offline showrooms.

  • Contribute to the product strategy for the Company's online services.

  • Manage large vendor contracts, and partner with additional third-party vendors to identify and apply solutions as needed for site experience improvement and operational optimization.

  • Manage the sales operation process and price system in the new channels

  • Work with local e-commerce teams on implementation of all online activities, including organizing business opportunities, promotions and advertising design to promote KOHLER products in online stores

  • Keep online store image updated and consistent with KOHLER brand position

  • Strategic planning and implementation of marketing communications strategy in the region to drive activities to achieve the maximum performance at the highest efficiency.

  • Position the company's brand as the leading brand in quality, design and value to the customers through effective advertising, publications, promotion and merchandising programs, events, exhibitions and tradeshows, and other marketing communication efforts.

  • Build and coach the team to ensure the highest standards of service.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills/Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or directly related field.

  • At least 8 years e-business working experience, and rich digital/marketing communications knowledge with leadership level experience

  • In-depth knowledge and experience in change management and a proven track record of building a successful E-comm business in a complex, multi-channel retail environment in the Asia Pacific market.

  • Experience with P&L management, e-commerce and database marketing, digital production, design and technology tools and process is highly desirable.

  • Excellent English communication skills and negotiation skills

  • Creative and quick learner
