Associate Director-Full Stack (Sr Mgr-App Dev) needed by Verizon in Basking Ridge, NJ (hybrid role, may work from home): Provide technical leadership and/or business-related subject matter expertise on large, highly complex projects. Perform high-level activities (e.g, client requirements, collection/analysis, systems design etc.)related to all phases of the systems life cycle. Perform technical evaluation of products and occasionally developing systems-related standards and procedures. Lead key digital journeys and take end to end accountability of Digital flows in both NSA and legacy platforms. Collaborate with CXP and Pega GTS teams on various digital programs. Perform project management activities (eg, planning, sizing, staffing, scheduling, and implementing). Independently analyzing and proactively managing problems, and making decisions that impact overall systems and projects. Evaluate, develop, and implement systems solutions to effectively fulfill business requirements. Ensure system implementations occur in accordance with established Change Control procedures. Complete all relevant technical and professional training programs in accordance with Performance Agreement goals and objectives. Validate the design/architecture by prototyping proposed solutions in short timeframes. After successful validation, creating detailed designs and design reviews with internal and external teams. Motivate and train staff to maximize productivity and promoting their professional development in a manner consistent with Verizon company policies and practices. Create individual performance objectives, conducting Mid-Year and End of Year performance reviews. Guide, supervise, coach, motivate, and mentor team members to achieve assigned goals and objectives. Manage the compensation, rewards, and employee growth based upon performance. REQUIRES Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, Principle Engineer, Distinguished Engineer, or in a related/similar position performing Software Development, System design and solutions. Experience therein to include 6 years with Java, Spring Framework, Kubernetes, Fusion, Elastic Search, Redis, AWS, React JS. Hybrid role, ability to work from home.
