Job Details:

• Oversees and leads overall month end close process for the 3 WNY sites in coordination with site controllers

• Monitors short-term and long-term financial performance of sites

• Develops and manages financial controls in accordance with the company’s procedures

• Compiles, manages and presents on monthly reporting, analytics and KPI metrics and to business leadership

• Oversees monthly/quarterly forecasting and annual budget

• Business partner with site leaders to maximize financial insight and plant performance

• Business partner to Finance & Business Leadership on long term initiatives, capex and ad-hoc analytics

• Works with internal and external audit responding to requests and providing support

• Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency in the plant processes and assists in executing

• Drives and manages standard cost updating process across sites as guided by business leadership

• Ability to balance controllership needs with longer term FP&A deliverables and analytics

• Leads and develops finance team consisting of two asst. controllers and one Financial Analyst

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required

• At least 5 years’ relevant finance experience

• Experience within a complex industrial company

• Experience with ERP and financial systems such as AS400 and SAP

• Supervisory and leadership experience

• Analytical capability to explain variances to the business

• Ability to partner with plant leadership and build relationships, serve as their trusted accounting resource

Salary Range: $90,144.00-150,240.00
