The Modeling, Analytics, and Simulation Sciences (MASS) Operation is seeking a Junior Model-Based Systems Engineer to support our customer at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC). Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) is a rapidly growing field in the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Communities. As a member of our engineering team, you will be a custodian of the "single source of truth" for our customers. You will work alongside engineers and software developers to develop authoritative engineering models that contribute to our nation's defense.

Required skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Experience with MBSE, SysML, and digital engineering tools; including Cameo/MagicDraw
• Working knowledge of principles and practices related to systems engineering
• Ability to develop and maintain models, artifacts, and integrated datasets for complex systems and systems of systems
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with architecting solutions from user requirements and use-cases
• Experience with integrating analytical/simulation tools with MBSE tools
• Experience with software engineering and integrating different software platforms/tools
• Experience with systems integration, system engineering concepts, and systems modeling
• Experience in supporting government customers
• Experience with C++ and / or Python
• Ability to analyze architecture and engineering data to solve complex problems, recommend solutions, and improve products and processes
• Knowledge of aerospace/defense systems and processes
• Knowledge of modeling and simulation (M&S) tools and practices
• Master's degree in an engineering field
• Current security clearance
