Production Technician, 2nd Shift (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) Exton, PA (USA)Onsite - 2nd shift: M-F 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM

As a Production Technician, of dsm-firmenich medical devices, you’ll be a key part of a diverse workforce and assure that our products are of consistent and high quality by producing products in compliance with established dsm-firmenich/GMP procedures. You will work in a regulated Production environment and follow SOP’s. Responsibilities:

• Responsible for cleaning all reactors, pressure pots, drums and other ancillary equipment that are needed for the synthesis of DSM Biomedical products.

• Provide sifting, packaging, extruding support as required.

• Record all the amounts of cleaning solvents used in the Material Log Sheet in the warehouse after cleaning.

• Report any observed unsafe equipment, condition or practice immediately to a supervisor, management or member of the Safety Committee.

• Adhere to DSM Quality System procedures and the ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards.

  You Bring:

• 3 years’ experience relevant experience in a chemical or industrial manufacturing facility/plant.

• High school Diploma or GED

• Experience with chemical safety and hygiene to support general manufacturing processes and demonstrated ability to learn and work safely.

• Ability to lift and handle weights up to 50 pounds.

• Good interpersonal skills to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and the ability to participate in multifunctional teams.
