Description We are in search of an Accounting Specialist for a position located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role primarily involves managing various accounting tasks such as invoice entry, payroll processing, reconciliation, reporting, and handling accounts receivables. This role offers a flexible work schedule and provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the entry of invoices accurately and in a timely manner

• Oversee bi-weekly payroll management and processing

• Perform reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data

• Generate reports to provide insight into financial status and progress

• Support month-end closing processes

• Handle accounts receivables to ensure payments are up-to-date

• Utilize various accounting software systems for efficient operations

• Implement ADP - Financial Services for payroll management

• Use Microsoft Excel for data management and financial analysis

• Perform billing functions and check processing as needed Requirements • Proficiency in accounting software systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with Great Plains (GPAC)

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Comprehensive understanding of accounting functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledge of billing functions

• Experience in check processing
