Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for a Procurement Internship in Lexington, Kentucky. This position is on-site so the ideal candidate will be located in the general area. The ideal candidate will be pursuing a 6 month internship from May through December 2024 (Full-time in the summer and 17.5 hours when the academic school year is in session) . No visa sponsorship or relocation will be provided for this role.

What will you do?
Productivity Project Management
Creation of purchase orders for samples
Support in price validation with Commodity Managers
Maintenance and implementation of procurement tools
Upkeep of procurement tools
Communication with plant staff and other stakeholders

What qualifications will make you successful?
Currently enrolled in a four-year university program obtaining your bachelors
Preferred field of study include a form of Engineering (mechanical, industrial) & Business Management
You have a interest in Procurement and Global Supply Chain
Interest in procurement analysis, working in multifunctional teams and s upplier quality and engineering
Strong verbal and written communication skills
