JOB REQUIREMENTS: RN Inpatient General Surgery - Per Diem - 31479 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Work Schedule : Per Diem Registered Nurses must commit to work a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours, per six (6) week scheduling period in direct patient care. We are seeking a Registered Nurse: * Join our 28-bed General Surgery unit offering the opportunity to gain a broad base of skills and clinical knowledge. * The patient population is a surgical specialty that focuses on abdominal organs, including stomach, small bowel, colon, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, and bile ducts, and diseases involving the breast. * Nurses are highly competent to care for a variety of high acuity patients, while maintaining a focus of compassionate patient and family centered care. * Emphasis is placed on professional development through continuing education for nursing staff, professional certifications, development of unit resource nurses, mentoring staff and students, while maintaining a high standard of care for all patients and their families. Preferred - Relevant RN experience. Licenses and Certifications : Minimum - Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact.
