Our client, a fortune 500 company, is looking for a Lab Technician, for a 12 month contract, As Lab Technician, you will support performs physical, optical and/or mechanical analyses and tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products. Worker performs chemical, biological, physical, and/or mechanical analyses and tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products.

Job Title: Lab Technician

Location: Maplewood MN 100% onsite

Pay Range: $18 to $22 p/h w-2 depending upon experience.

What’s the Job?

• Follow test methods and verbal direction to perform testing requested by engineers.

• Record, analyze and report the sample properties/performance correctly and accurately

• Actively engage in communication related to testing and results, equipment issues, and workload progress.

• Communicating results in both oral and written forms.

What’s Needed?

• Basic skills set with data collection and analysis (MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately and strong organizational and time management skills.

• Must be comfortable working in a laboratory environment.

• A degree is preferred.
