Huntron, Inc. Technical Trainer in Mill Creek, Washington

Huntron has a career opportunity for Technical Support/Training Job Summary: The Role works under limited direction/supervision and is responsible to provide technical support and training for customers. This would be regarding the use of Huntron equipment and software. Training would be included in our factory along with customer's facilities. Develop test on Huntron equipment. Any other task assigned by supervisor or management Up to 25% Travel Essential Functions: Great people skills and being able to answer technical questions and find solutions to customer issues.

Be comfortable in presenting subjects in front of small groups. Read schematic drawings; Use of test equipment for troubleshooting assembled electronic printed circuit boards. Applying knowledge of electronic theory.

Minimum Qualifications: Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent educational experience Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of methods and procedure in troubleshooting, circuitry as related to area of assignment and ability to devise and adapt; Familiarity with PCB flow through a repair environment; Working knowledge of computer systems Skills: Good oral expression and comprehension (communicate through speech so others will understand and listen to and understand information and ideas presented through speech); Good written expression and comprehension (communicate in English through writing so others will understand and read and understand information and ideas presented in English through writing) Abilities: Ability to learn new test software and equipment and to identify abnormal conditions in equipment and product; Ability to work in multiple software systems, including MS Office and ERP systems Education/Certification: AA degree in Electronic or Mechanical Technology, or equivalent knowledge through experience or other recognized educational institution Eligibility Requirement: This position requires access to controlled data or information and therefore only US persons will be considered. Preferred Qualifications:  Knowledge of practical application of engineering electronics, science, and technology including applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, components, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
