Job Summary

Langan is seeking a Network Intern or Co-op to join its collaborative team in Parsippany, NJ. This individual will serve a key function in helping maintain and support the Firm’s server environments, telephony, video and LAN/WAN infrastructure. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience as part of a dynamic technology team to proactively monitor the reliability and performance of network infrastructure as well as diagnose and repair problems.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the Network team in maintaining hardware, software, and other IT resources;

  • Assist with troubleshooting network issues and provide technical support;

  • Assist with hardware and software upgrades of network, server and storage devices;

  • Lend Network support in areas such as cybersecurity, programming, analytics, and data center management; and

  • Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications

  • Student actively pursuing a four year or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field;

  • Familiarity with Active Directory/Azure Active Directory/VMWare Vsphere/Meraki Firewalls/Barracuda Load Balancers/Exchange/TCP IP protocol/NAS (netapp) is a plus;

  • Possess excellent analytical and problem solving skills and effective communication skills; and

  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
