Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist in Cranberry, PA area. The individual will be responsible for managing and executing all general administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department, including but not limited to matching and batching codes, resolving A/P issues, and processing checks.

Responsibilities:

• Execute daily processes and controls accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with company policies.

• Provide customer service to internal business partners.

• Organize, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents for proper storage.

• Assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks.

• Help with internal and external audits as required.

• Verify, log, and mail checks, including expediting special handling.

• Implement full-cycle A/P.

• Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily.

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

• Use accounting software systems and tools like Great Plains (GPAC), IBM AS/400, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, and Microsoft Excel to perform tasks.

• Process expense reports and update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L.

• Handle check processing and data entry tasks.

• Address any discrepancies in accounts payable.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems.

• Experience with Great Plains (GPAC) is essential.

• Familiarity with IBM AS/400 system.

• Knowledge of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

• Understanding of general Accounting Functions.

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) processes.

• Knowledge of Check Processing procedures.

• Data Entry skills.

• Ability to resolve Discrepancy issues effectively.
