JOB SUMMARY: Serve as a liaison and provide daily support, as needed, between the Operations Manager and other groups within the department concerning coordination of reports, projects, meetings and various deadlines. Creates, monitors, and maintains records and reports for the department including but not limited to federal, state, and county documents, internal meetings, report listings and interlocal and revenue listings. Participates in planning of programs, policies or objectives for own work group and department. Provides department-wide support as needed in the absence of others. DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Liaison between the Operations Manager and other groups within the department for reports, projects, meetings and various deadlines. Handles incoming calls for complaints/compliments; Audits submissions and ensures all necessary information has been recorded in SharePoint. Researches, investigates, collects necessary documentation and information regarding Operations complaints; Returns customer calls to describe findings and ensures customer complaints and compliments are closed promptly. Responsible for creating and maintaining a compliment/complaint report for Monthly Business Meetings. Create presentation materials at the direction of the Operations Manager for Monthly Business Meetings. Collect and track as required Contractor Operations metrics. Responsible for maintaining the department email box; responds to emails in a timely manner and/or forwards the email to the appropriate staff member; and responsible for sending mass emails to client database as needed. Prepare and mail new Client Welcome Packets. Maintains Departments frequent contacts and the Fort Bend Transit customer database. Provide backup reservation call support when needed. Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers. REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma/GED; College Degree preferred. 3 years of job related experience, transit experience preferred. Strong customer service and computer skills. Strong verbal and written communication. Strong math and/or accounting background. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deal effectively with the public, other employees and elected officials. Valid Driver's License to travel to meetings/ attend various activities.

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required.
