Technical Operations/Maintenance
Technical Operations includes the maintenance, and overhaul of our aircraft. This includes aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities teams, supply chain teams and more.
Job overview and responsibilities
Responsible for the supervision and coordination of all maintenance functions on shift at the assigned location ensuring these activities are performed in a safe manner in accordance with schedule requirements and in compliance with all established company, regulatory and manufacturers procedures
Leads and assign work team and related personnel to meet company and customer requirements, goals, and objectives
Adheres to all applicable collective bargaining agreements (CBA), ensures their team has the appropriate resources available and holds them accountable for the work assigned/performed
Provide leadership and direction to on shift labor workforce to maximize productivity and output whilst ensuring necessary resources are available
Build/reinforce a fair and respectful work environment through consistent application of CBA work rules and company policies
Execute station performance goals and objectives aligning with divisional and company goals
Maintain a high level of awareness of operational, safety and human resource related performance objectives
Implement and sustainment of continuous improvement activities and oversee safety and security of work group operations to ensure regulatory compliance of technical operations activities
Maintain a high level of communication with employee groups within the work group
Report status of operations, highlighting significant events to leadership whilst providing direction to assigned personnel to ensure shop and divisional objectives are achieved
Qualifications
Required
High School Diploma/GED (Aviation Technology, Management, Engineering, Business or Physical Sciences)
Valid FAA A&P License
5+ years’ experience in CFR 14, Part 121/145 Regulations
2+ years engine maintenance experience or equivalent
with extensive knowledge of engine overhaul processes

Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

Preferred
Bachelor’s degree/Masters (Aviation Technology, Management, Engineering, Business or Physical Sciences)
Strong background and technical knowledge of V2500/PW4000 or PW2000 engine overhaul and piece part repairs
