As a Maintenance Technician you will…

• Be responsible for the working knowledge repair and maintenance of all mechanical equipment including mechanical seals, gear boxes, motors, drive couplings, agitators, pumps, rigging, welding and pipe fabrication and extruders.

• Perform PM’s, breakdowns, projects and conduct meetings.

• Work in a safe manner and adhere to all safety regulations.

• Participate in plant safety meetings.

• Participate in Incident investigations, Root Cause Analysis and Management of Change meetings.

• Work within established work routines and instructions.

• Provide training to new and existing maintenance technicians as needed.

• Work with maintenance supervision, other technicians, engineers, and production personnel to design plant equipment and modifications.

• Improve equipment reliability by maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, and utilizing all resources available. Report findings to management with appropriate recommendations.

• Support, maintain and improve preventive maintenance and Mechanical Integrity Program to insure equipment reliability.

• Be responsible for navigating SAP for replacement parts as well as documenting improvements to our stocked parts.

Qualifications:

• High SchoolDiploma or GED,required

• 2 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment,required

• Associate degree from an ABET accredited college or university preferred.

• Certifications in welding, HVAC, machine repair, machinist, or other related trade is preferred.

• Basic computer literacy: Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

• Industrial maintenance experience repairing and maintaining all mechanical equipment including: Mechanical seals, Gear boxes, motors, drive couplings, agitators, pumps, rigging, welding and pipe fabrication, extruders.

• Experience with SAP computerized maintenance management system.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Must be able to utilize general shop equipment (band saw, Mill, Lathe, Drill press, Grinders, and power hand tools).

• Demonstrate organizational and time management skills.

• 24 hour / 365 day on-call support for production demands. Willingness to work overtime, on-call, after hours and weekends when needed, and potential of night shift rotations during the year.

The competitive Pay Range for this role is $27.00-$32.00/hr. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factor permitted by law.
