Main Responsibilities

• To work as individual for new product development as 0-1 process and familiar with the NPD lifecycle including new ingredient/technology assessment, feasibility study and scale up trial testing. Interact with business related functions to facilitate the product development, e.g. work with marketing on product development determination, technical input/ plan and attend trial run for commercialization.

• Bring up new ideas and proposes new project independently to address nutrition powder formulation processing challenges and address efficiency challenges. Indendependtly conduct benchtop to scale up trial study to assess the feasibility and work independently or collaborate with colleagues to complete proposed plan validation in plant.

• Act as the technical lead or support the team on external collaboration projects; support research scientist to draft collaboration proposal and design exceution plan for collaboration project.

• Initiate the stability and shelf life tests for all the formulations developed. Description of the manufacturing conditions required to produce the powder product.

• Ensure priorities are handled effectively by modifying plans and actions in your own area of accountability.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

• PhD in Food Science, Food processing, Dairy Science and Pharmaceutical, or related scientific field. PhD2+ years work experience is required. Oversea education experience is preferred.

• Experience in setting up & running laboratories and performing bench top research work.

• Experience in nutrition, dietary supplment and dairy industry is preferred.

• Plant working experience is a plus.

• Good spoken and written English and delivering presentations

• External and cross-function team communication to understand project progress and support project.
