Brown-Forman Communications Manager in Surry Hills, Australia

Meaningful Work From Day One

This new role will lead the creation and delivery of highly integrated, impactful and effective communications whilst also managing and supporting Leadership with communication tasks, including writing and editing internal and external communications, the creation and formatting of internal presentations, event coordination and other communications and administrative support tasks as assigned. This role will also develop and execute a wide range of communication deliverables for both internal and external audiences, utilizing and reflecting the B-F Brand identity standards and guidelines (tone, voice, look, feel, expression, assets).

What You Can Expect

● Develop and deliver both internal and external communication plans and processes for the Australian Leadership Team, and work closely with the functional leads to help coordinate and deliver content for the monthly B-F publications

● Proactively identifying and executing consistent internal communications throughout the ANZPI business in line with the communications strategy - eg Draft and/or edit company wide distribution emails, internal announcements, video and/or presentations, talking points, Q&As, etc.

● Identifying the most effective communications channels for relevant messaging in the business, provide updates to platforms and increasing use of internal platforms as channels to build employee engagement

● Updating the communications playbook from time to time as required

● Draft communication for the B-F employer brand in collaboration with HR and B-Fs external communications consultant

● Be involved in community and social management communications, Identifying stories for BF social media channels and drafting relevant communications

● Liaising with ANZPI and global stakeholders to ensure ANZPI communications are in line with global messaging and ensure internal teams are trained and aware of aligned communications

What You Bring to the Table

  • 5+ years experience in corporate communications ( internal and external )

  • Education: (Bachelors or Equivalent); Arts, Communications, Public Relations, journalism

  • Proven ability as an author of primary documents and a proofreader and editor of materials written by others

  • Excellent stakeholder management experience

  • Systems: Proficiency with Google-based office platform, e.g. docs, sheets, drive, sites, etc, Salesforce, Coupra, Concur. With experience with digital messaging platforms, e.g. Marketing Cloud, Bananatag, etc.video and image editing software (i.e. Canva, Adobe Creative CloudSuite of Apps, Adobe Premiere and Adobe Photoshop)
