  • This position will be temporarily working in LEGO Training Facility (Binh Duong) & fully relocated to VSIP3 by end of 2024. Shuttle buses are provided.

Core Responsibilities

  • Ensure products, processes, practices and documents in own areas are in accordance withISO9001, ISO14001,ISO45001, Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and LEGO standards, including GCIR practice.

  • Promote quality culture and awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization, and drive quality team to actively take part in quality forums and related activities, issues, …

  • Bring in Product Safety mindset and knowledge across organization. Ensure product safety issues are effectively handled in the right methods

  • Own quality training and qualification system, Attribute Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility (AR&R) for quality related teams to create and sustain quality competencies and performance in LMV

  • Be accountable forlab services and performanceas per ISO17025 and corporate standards

  • Be accountable for building, maintaining the live quality risk assessment database, reflect it to quality control plan and improvement plan

  • Ensure non-conformance are appropriately quarantined and timely handled according to government and corporate procedures.

  • Secure plant quality KPIs performance in alignment with global goals and define improvement areas for actions based on quality data analysis.

  • Best practice sharing and adaptation across LMV functions and with other sites in The LEGO Group.

  • Bring in continuous improvement (CI) mindset and proactively lead CI activities in own areas. Consider to apply CI tools, problem solving tools, SPC in any possible situation

  • Be responsible forteam performance management and development. Plan and arrange the team to ensure quality services, especially in peak season.

  • Collaborate with EHS on daily job and other assigned tasks.

  • Stop production/machinery if critical safety or quality risk is observed

  • Ensure safe products with premium quality with the most efficient quality management system

  • Develop and execute quality and product safety training plans and convert learning into design for manufacturing

  • Minimize risk of production failures by proactive involving in early engineering and development stages

  • Fast and effective non-conformity containment and problem-solving to support the operations

  • Best practices sharing and adaptation

  • Ensure competence of Quality team and boost quality collaboration across functions.

  • Support EHS function to ensure EHS environment and culture in entrusted area.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Prefer candidates with a minimum of8-year-experience in Quality with at least 3 years at quality management and people lead levelin multinational manufacturing companies

  • University degree with major inPolymer, Moulding, Industrial Management or System Engineering is preferred

  • Risk Assessment, FMEA knowledge and experience. Be able to train and facilitate FMEA.

Must -have qualifications

  • Strong command of English

  • Practical experience and proven success in applying DMAIC, Kaizen, 8D, SPC, small group activities/quality control in problem solving, quality improvement and mentoring.

  • Visual ability and no color blind

  • Strong team builder and team player

  • Global mindset, systematic thinking and sense for excellence

  • Flexible behaviors, open minded, supportive, clear objectives

  • Decisive and result oriented with fact-base driven, data oriented, detail oriented and logical, analytical views

  • Strong communication skills in verbal and nonverbal

  • Self-driven personality with can-do-attitude

  • MS Office user

Nice-to-have qualifications

  • Practical experience in Six Sigma, and/or Lean Manufacturing will be an advantage

  • Experience in implementation and conformance to integratedEnvironment Quality Management System(ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001), CCC and FSC

  • Knowledge with technical drawing

  • Test equipment and lab management knowledge
