About the role:

We are seeking an experienced People Manager for our Supply Quality Team at the Vienna plant. In this role, you´ll lead a team of experts and you will have to implement the Supplier Quality elements in alignment with global procedures.

You will interact with stakeholders within Takeda´s Vienna manufacturing site as well as within the Plasma Operating Unit (OpU).

Excellent communication and networking skills, stress resistance, handling multiple projects/topics at the same time as well as the ability to prioritize appropriately are key for this position.

How you will contribute:

  • Lead and develop a team of 5 Supplier Quality experts

  • Assure compliance of Vienna Supplier Quality with international guidelines and Takeda Global Quality Standards

  • Partner with global Supplier Quality function for the further development of internal standards

  • Maintenance of existing suppliers and qualification of new suppliers worldwide working for the manufacturing site in Vienna according to the Takeda internal business process (paper audits, quality agreements, supplier changes,)

  • Prepare and maintain quality agreements

  • Support material deviations for the Vienna plant and evaluate investigations performed by the supplier

  • Develop and maintain material specifications for the Vienna plant

  • Support of the manufacturing site Vienna in case of questions concerning suppliers (problem solving, monitoring, complaints)

  • Support the preparation of authority audits and represent the Supplier Quality processes at such audits

  • KPI Reporting

What you bring to Takeda:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in natural sciences or engineering.

  • 2-5 years of professional experience in quality management, ideally in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.

  • Knowledge of the global regulatory environment in at least one of the following areas: Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices or a related field

  • Excellent change management and people management skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • Leadership experience required

  • Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal English. Ability to write clear and concise reports.

  • Good communication skills in German are desirable

  • Persistence and negotiation skills
