Oracle Principal Product Manager - Data Foundation in India

Job Description

We are seeking aspirational graduates interested in a career in Product Management to join OFSAA Data Management Applications suite. The position will need to perform product requirements and functional design of OFSAA products. Need to interact with customers and other product managers to collect business requirement and translate in data model and functional design.

The work we do is often non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in areas of Banking Domain. We are looking for very hardworking contributors with a passion for learning, self-motivated and independent engineers with a drive to make a difference. Strong analytical and problem solving skills are desirable, as the candidates will be involved in solving complex business issues.

As a Principal Product Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and triaging complex business solutions / issues in Data Management Products. You will be responsible for designing and implementing Deep Analysis Tools to mine data to extract actionable analytics, use AI/ML to identify and resolve anomalies and quickly establish the root cause of issues.

  • Should have excellent product management skills

  • Should have excellent technical skills and presentation abilities and can willing to go that extra mile to attain finesse.

  • Should have excellent problem solving, analytical and technical troubleshooting skills

  • Experience in working in BFSI Domain and specifically Regulatory Compliance – Risk Management is important

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Collaboration skills with other team members across portfolio

  • Excellent knowledge of Datawarehousing, data modeling, data lakehouses, ETL etc.

Your Responsibilities

  • Document the Data model requirements for various subject areas in Risk, Finance and Compliance domains of Banking and Insurance industry.

  • Product scope and release definition, release planning

  • Sales and customer demonstrations

  • Collaborate with pre-sales for POC’s, collateral, proposal reviews.

  • Review technical design documents.

  • Review QA validation scenarios

  • Champion Model Governance standards for entire OFSAA ecosystem.

Your Qualifications

  • Degree in B.S or equivalent

  • 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience

  • Excellent knowledge of Datawarehousing, Data lakes, Data Governance, Data Integration and various technology stack related to implementation of large data warehouses and data lakes.

  • Expert and practical knowledge of enterprise data architecture – domain driven design, micro-services, enterprise data integration patterns

  • Good knowledge of data science and machine learning concepts and practical uses in data management.
