Interbeton has an excellent opportunity for an Accountant in our office in Volos. The position reports to the Ready-Mix Operations Manager. The primary purpose of this role is to support financial transactions in line with appropriate accounting procedures and to assist in the daily operations of our local offices.

Main Responsibilities

• Coordinates and oversees accounting activities for assigned units, ensuring compliance with regulations and tax laws.

• Manages all aspects of general accounting, including invoice verification, fixed asset monitoring, and financial reporting.

• Handles financial transactions, including checks, petty cash, and credit approvals, while maintaining customer and supplier agreements

• Oversees employee scheduling and HR systems, ensuring compliance with labor laws.

• Manages the ERGANI system (submission of schedule modification, overtime, and extra work hours of Unit employees).

• Maintains employee files and handles enlistment and conscription matters.

• Collaborate with production units and external partners to resolve issues and manage contracts.

• Cultivates relationships with local authorities and stakeholders to promote company interests.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.

• 3+ years of experience in a similar position or administrative roles.

• Deep understanding for tax, and labor laws.

• Strong command of Greek & English

• Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office, SAP, and HRMS.

• Drives team productivity and problem-solving.

• Takes initiative and responsibility for achieving goals.

• Communicates effectively and builds trust.

• Demonstrates analytical thinking and crisis management skills.
