We are in the process of expanding our team in the manufacturing sector, with a role based in Wood Dale, Illinois, United States. The position is for a Senior Accountant who will play a crucial role in supporting a wide scope of accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the accuracy of the perpetual inventory system and ensure its reconciliation to the general ledger accounts.

• Review interface transactions and adjustments from various ERP systems into Cost Point.

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and perform account variance analysis.

• Provide transactional processing support to the department for routine transactions, such as accounts receivables/billing/invoicing, General Ledger.

• Assist management in preparing deliverables for Corporate and external auditors on a quarterly and annual basis.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and other software like NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for various accounting tasks.

• Conduct month-end close processes and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Employ skills in Corporate Accounting and Account Reconciliation to maintain financial accuracy and transparency in the company.

• Handle bank reconciliations and ensure that all financial transactions are recorded accurately in the General Ledger.

Requirements

• Must possess strong skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations.

• Proficiency in General Ledger maintenance and Journal Entries is required.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel is necessary for data analysis and reporting tasks.

• Experience with Month End Close procedures is essential.

• Knowledge of NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP software is required.

• Must have previous experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.

• Strong understanding of Corporate Accounting principles and practices.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.

• Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional certification is preferred.

• Must be legally eligible to work in the respective country without sponsorship.

• Must adhere to all company policies and procedures.
