Position Overview:

Transports and assists patients throughout the medical center. May also transport patients to and from appointments at the medical center .

Job Description :

EDUCATION

  • Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

  • HS Diploma or general education degree (GED).

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE

  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:

  • Previous working experience in a health care environment.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Strong communication skills for frequent and challenging contact with physicians, patients, families; patience and compassion

  • Ability to lift and position patients properly using best practices

  • Must be customer focused and be able to promote services in a positive manner

  • Ability to maintain composure during challenging interpersonal interactions

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize work, tolerate frequent interruptions and work well under pressure

Pay Range is $28.29 to $33.81 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
