Minimum Qualifications:

• Must exhibit a bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited four-year college or university. Proof of degree required. A transcript or diploma would be acceptable and must be provided.
• Must exhibit the ability to assume responsibility for an assigned area of accounting work and be able to supervise and assist clerical personnel in daily or monthly tasks.
• Must exhibit the ability to help formulate systems and procedures to be used in cost accounting and be able to communicate this to others.
• Must exhibit a working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software, such as Word, Excel, Access, etc.
• Must be able to work overtime on weekdays and/or weekends as required to fulfill job duties.
• Must be open to departmental transfer to other Accountant positions within the Finance Division.

Ideal Candidate

• Has the advanced ability to work with computer spreadsheets and word processing software such as Excel, Word, and other programs used in analysis and special projects.
• Possess a graduate education or professional certification.
• Exhibit basic management skills.
• Prior experience using JD Edwards, Bottomline, Hubble, Infinium, or ASI software.
