Labelmaster Summer Intern in Chicago, Illinois

Labelmaster is an established and growing company that takes the complexity out of shipping Dangerous Goods (Hazmat), making the world a safer place.

We’re seeking energetic and responsible interns to join our growing organization for the summer. In this position you will be expected to learn the ins-and-outs of our daily routines and procedures in one of a handful of areas: Safety, HR, Operations, or Customer Success. Interns will gain valuable experience in a business setting while working to improve their respective departments.

Essential Functions & Principal Accountabilities

  • Editing

  • Auditing

  • Researching

  • Training

  • Creating excel spreadsheets

  • Creating word documents

  • Helping with special projects

  • Liaising with other departments

  • Learning to work with others in different levels of the organization

  • Dependability

  • Being physically present at the worksite

Additional Responsibilities

  • ISO program compliance and support

  • Take responsibility for the safety of self and others at all times

  • Take responsibility to eliminate accidents, injuries & hazards at all times

  • Observe and act in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations & company policies

  • Other duties/projects as assigned

Technology

  • MS Office skills

  • Good keyboarding skills

  • Computer skills preferred

  • Internet research skills

Education/Training/Experience

  • High School enrollment or equivalent preferred

  • Experience in an office setting desired
