Description

We are in search of a Systems Administrator based in Hamilton, New Jersey. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and will be pivotal in managing and maintaining IT equipment and systems, providing support to end users, and enforcing IT policies within our pharma industry.

Responsibilities:

• Installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment including computers, printers, scanners, phones, and other devices.

• Providing support to end users through various communication methods such as phone, email, and in-person.

• Troubleshooting and resolving IT issues including network connectivity, software errors, and hardware malfunctions.

• Performing regular backups and updates of IT systems and data, including laptops and desktop records.

• Documenting and reporting IT incidents, requests, and solutions for future reference and improving system efficiency.

• Monitoring and enforcing IT policies and best practices to ensure secure and efficient operations.

• Training and assisting end users on IT systems and applications to ensure optimal usage and understanding.

• Coordinating with other IT team members and external vendors to ensure high-quality IT service delivery.

• Managing and supporting user onboarding and offboarding processes.

• Provisioning and setting up hardware for end users, including desktop imaging and workstation setup.

• Managing hardware inventory for the facility and ensuring equipment is made available to end users following corporate processes for hardware distribution.

• Monitoring key performance indicators and metrics for the IT support team, such as ticket volume, response time, and customer satisfaction.

• Providing technical expertise and guidance to end users on various IT issues and solutions.

• Supporting the maintenance of an IT inventory, assets, licenses, and contracts.

• Ensuring IT processes and procedures are adhered to in-line with policy and industry best practices.

Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Systems Administrator role or similar

• Demonstrated proficiency in Cisco Technologies and Dell Technologies

• Solid experience with Database management and configuration

• Hands-on experience with EO/IR systems and Linux Technologies

• Expertise in Active Directory and Backup Technologies is required

• Proficiency in computer hardware maintenance and troubleshooting

• Strong understanding of Configuration Management and Deployments

• Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Windows Server, and MS Windows

• Demonstrated experience in Cisco Networking and Computer networking

• Experience with Aruba and Aruba Wireless technologies is a plus

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Must have a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
