Employment Representative Golden Entertainment Corporate (Las Vegas, NV)
Description:
Summary:
Responsible for the complete and successful processing of all Las Vegas-based Golden Entertainment properties new hires and transfers. Perform data input into HRIS. Ensure the recruitment/employment computer lab runs smoothly. Provide backup to property Human Resources office, when needed.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Assemble processing packets, extend job offers, conduct new hire and transfer processing, and ensure all processing packets are fully and appropriately completed (including proper work cards and pre-employment requirements) prior to new hires and transfers beginning work
Answer office phone line and handle all recruitment and employment-based questions from callers and in-person guests
Assist applicants in the computer lab with any questions or concerns regarding the application process
Assist with Human Resources office front desk coverage, as needed
Create new hire and transfer swipe badges
Assist with the review of applications from the applicant tracking system for open positions, as needed
Follow up with hiring managers to ensure all appropriate paperwork needed for processing has been submitted
Maintain highly confidential company information, files, and team member information
Ensure requisition, applicant, and team member records are properly maintained and that all phases of the employment process are carried out consistently and in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, statutes, ordinances and directives
Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position
Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Qualifications
1 year of experience in Human Resources, recruiting, and/or employment
Previous experience in Recruitment or Employment within the gaming/hospitality industry preferred
Possess excellent written, verbal and individual and group presentation communication skills
Ability to effectively communicate in small groups, as well as on an individual-basis
Able to effectively organize materials, set priorities, and provide feedback or follow up
Must have excellent computer skills (experience with Microsoft Word and Excel)
Previous experience with applicant tracking systems required; preferably experience with HR Logix platforms
Must be at least 21 years of age
Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
Bilingual in Spanish preferred
High school diploma required
Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
Verify right to work in the United States
