Quality Inspector

7 AM - 3:30 PM - M-F

$25-$28 an hour

Overview

This company is a machine shop that has been in business for a very long time. About 50 employees are on the floor. Typical manufacturing environment.

They perform machining for hydraulic pump manufacturers.

Day to Day:

• Conduct inspections to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards

• Working with hydraulic parts using various blueprints

• Utilize inspection tools and equipment to ensure precision and accuracy

• Collaborate with production teams to address and rectify any identified quality issues

• Perform and oversee equipment and tool calibration activities to maintain accuracy and reliability

• Operate Zeiss CMM

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of CMM

• Experience with manufacturing processes: CNC machining, metal casting, injection molding

• Be able to do documentation work and comfortable with compute5
