Job Description
We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst II to work closely with both business stakeholders and IT teams to translate business needs into technical requirements, while also leveraging data analytics to drive business solutions. This will be full time and on-site .
What You'll Do
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and objectives
Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather business requirements
Analyze current business processes and propose improvements or new system requirements
Utilize data analytics tools to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support business decisions
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards that provide visibility into key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics
Work with IT and data teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity
Translate business needs into detailed technical requirements for IT development teams
Create functional specifications, data flow diagrams, and process maps to guide system design and development
Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
Facilitate meetings and presentations to report on findings, progress, and solutions
Assist in project planning, scheduling, and tracking to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
Identify project risks and issues, and work with the team to develop mitigation and resolution strategies
Collaborate with QA teams to define testing strategies and plans
Review test cases and participate in testing activities to ensure that solutions meet business requirements and quality standards
Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for users on new systems and reports
Provide ongoing support and guidance to users on data analytics tools and methodologies
What You'll Need
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field
Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role, with a strong focus on data analytics
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze large datasets and translate data into insights
Proficiency in data analytics tools and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Knowledge of business process reengineering and requirements gathering methodologies
Experience with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
Certifications in data analytics & business analysis.
Experience in specific industries or business domains relevant to the organization.
Experience with Salesforce
Experience with Tableau
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitors
