Description

Robert Half is seeking a Senior Benefits & Wellness Specialist who will play a key role in managing and optimizing employee benefits and wellness programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pension, 401(k), benefits administration, leave of absence (LOA) management, wellness initiatives, and general human resources practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and coordinate with vendors to administer benefits effectively.

  • Manage the company's pension and 401(k) plans, including enrollment, contributions, distributions, and compliance. Keep abreast of regulatory changes and ensure plan documents are updated accordingly.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding leave of absence requests. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, maintain accurate records, and facilitate smooth transitions back to work.

  • Develop, implement, and promote wellness initiatives aimed at improving employee health and well-being. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design programs that address physical, mental, and emotional wellness needs.

    Requirements

  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in pension administration, 401(k) management, benefits administration, leave of absence management, wellness program development, and general human resources practices.

  • Strong understanding of federal and state regulations governing employee benefits and wellness programs.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex benefits information to employees at all levels.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
