Robert Half Financial Operations Analyst in Peapack, New Jersey

Description

Our client is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Financial Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role Financial Operations Analyst role, you will provide essential financial analytical support to our client's Digital Operations Automation team. Your responsibilities will include budgeting, monthly financial processes, business analysis, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. Additionally, you will be instrumental in maintaining their contract management solution, managing changes, developing presentations, and supporting communication materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial analytical support to the Digital Operations Automation team.

  • Assist with budgeting and monthly financial processes.

  • Identify opportunities for improving business analysis and financial reporting.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

  • Maintain the contract management solution and project manage changes.

  • Develop presentations and other communication materials to support the overall team.

  • Support and maintain information in the balance scorecard metrics solution.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.

  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, project management, or related fields.

  • Previous experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and business analysis.

  • Familiarity with accounting standards and principles.

  • Experience in contract management and project coordination is preferred.

  • Proficiency in using financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).

  • Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.

  • Ability to analyze financial data and draw meaningful insights.

  • Experience with budget preparation, monitoring, and variance analysis.

  • Familiarity with financial modeling and forecasting techniques.

  • Basic project management skills, including planning, organizing, and executing tasks.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

  • Experience in project coordination and change management.
