Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh Digital Strategy & Content Manager, Membership Annual Fund - Ref#1364 in PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania

Formed in 1998, the Arts Education Collaborative (AEC) offers programs and resources that support quality arts education in southwestern Pennsylvania. This includes reaching school districts, arts and culture organizations, community members, and policymakers as they work to impact children and youth in the region. Responsible for effectively managing operations of assigned area in collaboration with other components of the institution, designing systems for efficient work that conform with both best practices in the field and department policies. Manages budgets and/or has responsibility for achieving revenue targets.  Supports overall department goals of being donor-centered, cooperative and transparent. 

QUALIFICATIONS

*EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:  *Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Communications or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Minimum of 3-5 years of digital marketing experience required.  Supervisory experience required.  Experience working in non-profit educational or cultural organizations desirable. Experience working with volunteers preferred.  

*KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES: * Strong interpersonal and coaching skills required.  Must have excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills. Strong copy writing skills with the ability to write compelling stories for multiple platforms using a variety of voices. Extensive experience with cross-platform marketing, digital marketing, digital platforms and trends. Extensive knowledge of current and emerging technologies, channels and platforms. Must be technologically proficient with Microsoft Office products and adept at learning new technologies. Graphic design, photography and video editing experience preferred. Raiser's Edge and Luminate knowledge a plus.  Occasional evening and weekend work required.

*PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: *Work is primarily sedentary in nature; no special demands are required. 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Responsible for all aspects of digital marketing project management for membership and annual giving, including the members and annual giving webpages, email campaigns, Google Search, and social media.
  • Work with internal staff and external vendors to develop communication strategies, messaging and brand awareness/consistency to boost retention, acquire new members and donors, upgrade members, and build the member-to-donor giving pipeline.
  • Develop content, concept and copy for a wide range of digital assets.
  • Collaborate with the direct mail marketing and telemarketing teams to develop coordinated multi-channel and cross-platform marketing campaigns.
  • Manage paid digital advertising, such as Google Ad Words, Facebook ads and more.
  • Create engaging social media content, including targeted paid ads, for CMP's membership social media platforms.
  • Write copy, develop content and create schedules and timelines for email campaigns, including renewals, acquisitions, add gifts, upgrades, event invitations, e-newsletters, gift campaigns, and more.
  • Set and adhere to project production schedules and deadlines.
  • Track performance and engagement across all digital platforms for membership and annual giving through the creation of of key performance indicators and evaluation metrics. Evaluate, refine and adjust strategy, as needed.
  • Create and manage budgets for digital campaigns and ads.
  • Perform ongoing research into new digital platforms, benchmark trends, and audience preferences.
  • Represent CMP's membership program in public and at internal and external even s, as needed.
