Amazon is seeking a Program Manager to join a centralized Denied Party Screening (DPS) team focused on denied party and sanctions screening systems and processes. This team enables Amazon to comply with regulations as well as understand and manage sanctions risk.

As the Program Manager, you will lead a variety of projects with significant scope and impact, supporting several different areas of the business. In this role, you will work to deliver value to the customer, manage sanctions risk, and track and drive the timeline of the project. The program is cross functional and requires strong communication skills to coordinate onsite and remote work with teams across the globe. In this capacity, you will gain valuable exposure to many areas within our global business.

You will coordinate with DPS management, Amazon Legal, and multiple other teams in the development of project management standards and other efforts that enable operations and manage risk. You will be responsible for end-to-end project management to improve denied party and sanctions screening systems and processes.

As a Program Manager, you will anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and balance customer and business needs versus resource constraints. In this role, you will:

• Develop and manage projects from beginning to end, including project scope, timeline, capacity planning, resource allocation, and project execution.

• Proactively manage change control and communicate impact in project scope, identify issues, and devising contingency plans.

• Identify and manage project dependencies, risk based prioritization and critical paths.

• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using project management tools.

• Work independently and remain flexible, with the ability to prioritize workloads and maintain resilient attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent

• Experience handling confidential information

• Experience in program or project management

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of program requirements definition and data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements experience

• Professional auditing qualification, or similar risk or compliance credentials

• Experience with SQL and Excel

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
